When is it suitable to use CANDIVAC?

One of the methods to increase general immune defence of the organism and vaginal environment is modulation of the immune mechanisms using CANDIVAC.

CANDIVAC is clinically tested, patented product developed in cooperation with specialists from the Medical Faculty of the Palacky University in Olomouc. It contains harmless parts of candida and bacteria, which are frequently responsible for vaginal infections and which stimulate immunity and thereby support the natural defence of the organism.

Are there any contraindications for CANDIVAC?

No, there are not. CANDIVAC is a non-toxic product produced solely from natural materials. Capsules are also from cellulose.

What to do in case I forget to take a capsule of CANDIVAC?

It can be used anytime during the day. If it is not used till the evening, it is possible to continue next day and thereby the ten-day cycle will be prolonged by one more day. Such failures of usage should not occur frequently; otherwise the efficiency of the product would be decreased.

What should be used to flush down the capsules of CANDIVAC preparation?

Usual non-alcoholic beverages, the best would be water, tea, coffee, mineral water.

Is it possible to use CANDIVAC together with medicinal products?

Yes, it can be used together with commonly prescribed medicines including contraception and other food supplements (e.g. vitamins, minerals, etc.). Caution and consultation with a doctor is necessary during the use of immunosuppressants and corticosteroids. It is not recommended to use it simultaneously with other immunobiological products (e.g. vaccine). It can be used together with antimycotics.

CANDIVAC is intended for adults, possible use by children, pregnant and breast-feeding women must be discussed with a doctor first.

What to do, when there are signs of mycosis again during the use of CANDIVAC?

Signs of mycosis are no reason for interruption of CANDIVAC usage. Possible mycosis could be simultaneously treated with usual methods based on the opinion of the physician.

What if mycosis returns after using one package of CANDIVAC?

If there is a recurrence, it is treated the usual way, best according to the advice of a physician. It is possible to use one or two more packs of CANDIVAC according to the instructions, i.e. 10 days usage and 20 days interruption. Administration scheme is not changed, dose is not increased. 

What precautions are necessary in case of an accidental use of more capsules, e.g. by a child?

Especially stay calm. The preparation is not poisonous. Even ingestion of two or more capsules is not harmful. If there is an ingestion of several capsules (e.g. whole packaging) of CANDIVAC, it is suitable to induce vomiting. If you better decide to visit a doctor, take the cover with you.

If CANDIVAC helpful in case of acute vaginal mycosis?

In case of acute symptoms of the disease, it is necessary to visit a doctor and treat mycosis according to his/her recommendations. CANDIVAC may be used simultaneously as a prevention of recurrences.

Could CANDIVAC be used simultaneously by the partner?

Yes. In the acute stage of the disease however, it is necessary to treat the partner with a local antimycotic, e.g. antimycotic cream. Another necessary precaution is increased hygiene, possibly usage of a condom.

Can I use CANDIVAC repeatedly?

Yes. After a consultation with a doctor, it is possible to use the product also several times a year to achieve a longer-term effect.

If you suffer from repeated mycotic infections, it is suitable to use two subsequent packagings initially according to the instructions. Three-month therapy may be repeated once or twice a year.

Where can I buy CANDIVAC?

In every pharmacy. If your pharmacist does not have CANDIVAC in stock, he/she is able to order it for you in the usual distribution network and at the latest in the second day after the order, you can pick it up in a pharmacy.
